I never left home without a camera and was always the one to capture all of my friends & family earning me the nickname of memory keeper ~ a title I did and still do take very seriously! After graduating from college - I entered the exciting and fast paced world of television. I began my career producing for The Learning Channel (TLC) before landing the greatest job of all time as an Associate Producer on The Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago! I spent 7 incredible years learning and growing from the very best in the biz until we taped the final show in 2011. Ironically, as my dream job was coming to an end - my husband's job was being transferred to Southern California.

Ever since childhood, I have always been completely obsessed with all things photography!

We said our goodbyes to our family and the life we built together and we set off to begin a new chapter on The West Coast. With a toddler at home and a second baby on the way, this time period was both terrifying and exciting all at once. Shortly after our big cross country move I decided to change my career course and reunite with my first love- my beloved camera- and that is when Leigh Castelli Photography was born. Since 2011 - I have been on the most rewarding journey documenting hundreds of families, newborns, weddings and precious moments throughout Southern California. My incredible clients have become my West Coast family and developing those special relationships through the years has been such a gift. I hope to have the opportunity to tell your story and welcome you to the ever growing LCP family.

I want you to remember your sweet 6 month old as they learn to sit up and continue to grow. I want you to remember everything from your baby's first steps to your baby's steps down the aisle. Life moves so fast and sometimes we forget the beautiful moments in between. It's my pleasure & passion to preserve your memories and all of your life's precious moments for generations to come.

I want you to truly feel the joy I feel when I capture and share your stories. I want you to be able to sit down and open your gorgeous heirloom albums and relive every moment of your special day and the love leading up to that special day. I want you to remember every last sweet and precious newborn detail as the lack of sleep slowly fades those fleeting moments away.

I wouldn't be where I am today without my family's continued love and support. My husband and I have been together for 18 years with two wonderful children. Though our life is often chaotic- we are so thankful to share in this crazy life together. As I often tell my clients, family time is the BEST time and I'm truly grateful for mine.
