Hello & Happy New Year!!

Thank you for visiting me here on the new LCP blog! You may have noticed a brand new look to my website and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with all of you! With every new year comes a new beginning and I am so ready to begin 2021 with a beautiful new view and a fresh perspective. This website relaunch was LONG overdue and it’s something that I’ve been dreaming about for years.

When I first began my photography business back in 2011, I was knee deep in diapers with 2 babies at home and I had no idea where this road would lead me. I knew I wanted to work but I also wanted to be home to watch my children grow. This job allowed me the freedom to do both and for that, I am so incredibly thankful. With the help of my very supportive husband, I was fortunate enough to spend precious time at home with my kids while slowly growing my photography business. Back then, my days were spent volunteering at school functions and attending field trips and my evenings were spent photographing clients all over Southern California and editing into the wee hours of the morning. I dedicated endless hours trying my best to balance both work and motherhood like all busy mamas do and although it wasn’t always easy, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. This work truly is my lifelong passion and I am so grateful I get to call this my “job.”

If 2020 has taught me one thing- it’s to not take anything for granted. This last year has been such a difficult year for so many and as we navigate our new normal, it’s important that we continue to take care of ourselves and those that matter most to us.
