Senior sessions are an incredible opportunity to celebrate the achievements of graduating students. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a remarkable young woman, Lauren, for her Encinitas California Senior Session. While I always maintain a relaxed and fun atmosphere for my seniors, this session was extra special as I’ve known and photographed Lauren’s family over the years.

Lauren’s mother was a teacher at my children’s old elementary school and I have loved getting to know their family. On top of knowing this amazing family personally, it’s always heartwarming to witness families grow and evolve through the lens of my camera. As the oldest of three children, Lauren’s loving parents have supported her every step of the way. 

Lauren is a young woman bursting with enthusiasm and ambition. She is a class of 2023 graduate from San Marcos High School. She was also a part of the San Marcos Cheerleading Competition Team throughout high school. The countless hours of practice, teamwork, and commitment shaped her into a spirited, talented athlete. I know the memories she made as a member of the cheer team are ones that she will cherish forever. She will be embarking on her next chapter of life this fall as she heads off to Oregon! Her determination and hard work earned her acceptance into one of her top-choice schools!

Encinitas, California Senior Session

We spent the night capturing Lauren senior session in Encinitas, CA. The rolling hills and vibrant, yellow wildflowers provided a natural and serene backdrop, perfectly encapsulating the essence of California. The sun casted a warm, golden glow as we created timeless images that truly captured Lauren’s personality and her excitement for her future.
