I recently had the pleasure of capturing this sweet family and their newborn baby girl, Annelise in an unforgettable San Diego in-home newborn session. This light and airy session not only celebrated the arrival of a precious newborn but also embraced the bonds between generations. 

Born in January 2023, baby Annelise Rose completed this beautiful family of four. As she slept in the arms of her mom and dad, it was evident that their love for her knew no bounds. From tender cuddles to playful moments, the images captured the pure essence of newborn bliss, creating memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.

San Diego In-Home Newborn Session 

There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family within the comfort of their own home. In-home sessions are perfect for families who have welcomed a newborn or have younger siblings. They provide a relaxed and familiar environment for the children. In-home sessions also remove any stress that typically comes with leaving the house with a newborn. No need to pack the diaper bag and worry you forgot something, because everything is within reach! 

In-home sessions also allow for more intimate moments to be shared and captured. The familiarity of the surroundings add an extra layer of authenticity, resulting in photographs that exude warmth and joy. I loved watching Annelise’s big sister love on sweet Annelise as they cuddled up together on their parent’s bed. It is easy to see that she is already an amazing big sister! 

Generational Photographs

As a family photographer, there are few things as rewarding as witnessing the connection between generations. In this session, Annelise’s grandparents were present, which was incredibly special! Generational photographs hold a special place in my heart, as they capture the timeless bond between family members. They serve as a cherished reminder of the deep-rooted love, wisdom, and connections that span across generations. I firmly believe that these images become priceless heirlooms, preserving family history, and creating a lasting legacy. I know that both Annelise and her family will cherish these images for years to come.
