I had the pleasure of capturing Michelle and Danny’s stunning Morgan Run Club & Resort Wedding on a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon in San Diego. They planned for 6 months, and although they were worried about unpredictable weather, everything turned out perfect. The venue itself was breathtaking, with its lush greenery and elegant decor, providing the perfect backdrop for this special day. Michelle wore a stunning wedding gown with intricate lace detail. Her hair was pulled back in a low, romantic bun off to the side featuring a beautiful hair piece. 

The mother of the bride gave Michelle a hanky with a sentimental message in blue. Michelle and her mom shared a heartfelt moment during the exchange and I was so happy to have captured this beautiful moment for them. Michelle’s bridesmaids wore elegant, royal blue, floor length dresses all in different styles. I love when bridesmaids wear different styles of dresses showing off their unique style and personality! The stunning bouquets designed by Feather Acres were a mixture of various shades of blue and white flowers accented with greenery.

Unplugged Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

Their unplugged ceremony took place outside on the venue’s lawn next to the clubhouse. The happy couple exchanged their vows under a circular wedding arch adorned with flowers and greenery. The gentle breeze and warm California sunshine made for a picture-perfect ceremony. Just as Michelle and Danny were preparing to say “I Do”, SDSU won the March Madness game with the incredible buzzer shot. The entire clubhouse next to the ceremony site roared. The entire wedding had no choice but to laugh as all of the guys in the audience eagerly wanted to know if SDSU was going to win it! While they had to wait a little bit longer to check their phones, it was a memorable moment for the bride and groom and the entire wedding party.

Elegant Morgan Run Club & Resort Wedding

Michelle and Danny’s reception was equally as enchanting.  Lace and Champagne Events did a wonderful job keeping all of the vendors on track and organized making the wedding day flawless for all.  Surrounded by their loved ones and the twinkling lights of the venue, Michelle and Danny shared their first dance to a beautiful cover of Time after Time. Then Michelle danced with her adorable son, Michael, to My Wish. After a few moments, Danny joined them on the dance floor with beautiful white ribbons, and the three of them danced together. It was a touching moment between this new family. 

From the heartfelt speeches to the joyful dancing, the evening was filled with love and laughter. Capturing this beautiful day was truly an honor.
