Timeless Newborn Portraits

It is such an honor to share sweet baby Leyla’s Timeless Newborn Portraits. This precious baby girl is a miracle baby. I know her amazing parents, Oz and Scott, are overflowing with love and gratitude to finally hold Leyla in their arms. Their journey to parenthood wasn’t an easy one, as they navigated years of trying and waiting. It was all worth it though! Born in early May, Leyla Louise entered their lives, capturing their hearts, blessing their lives with her presence, and filling their home with immeasurable joy. Weighing in at 7 pounds 11 ounces and 19.5 inches long, Scott and Oz are truly obsessed with their little miracle, and rightfully so! She is the most perfect little baby!

I met this beautiful new family of three at their family home located in San Marcos, CA. Leyla was an absolute dream to photograph. From her delicate, sleepy smiles to the sweet snuggles she shared with her adoring parents, every moment was infused with love and tenderness. It was a privilege to document this beautiful family and freeze these precious early moments in time. Throughout Leyla’s newborn portraits, we incorporated handmade blankets given to them by their loved ones. These treasured heirlooms symbolize the love and support surrounding Leyla from the very beginning of her journey.

Leyla’s Dainty Nursery

One of my favorite parts of capturing in-home newborn sessions is seeing the nursery! I love seeing all the love and creativity parents pour into this room. An elegant chandelier, a fluffy pink rug underfoot, and a custom name sign above her white crib decorated Leyla’s dainty nursery. Scott and Oz thoughtfully planned and beautifully decorated every element to create a relaxing, comforting environment for their sweet girl. Leyla’s light and airy nursery also provided the perfect backdrop for capturing her portraits.

Leyla’s timeless newborn portraits beautifully captured the joy and gratitude felt by Scott and Oz as they welcomed her into the world. Leyla’s arrival marked the culmination of years of hope and longing, and her presence filled their lives with endless happiness.
