I had the most amazing time photographing the Montgomery family who were visiting from Utah. Their Oceanside, California family session was gorgeous! This family of seven were vacationing here in sunny California. Mom was thrilled to finally get updated family photos of her five growing children! Their 5 kids range in ages from 3 to 17, making for a wonderful session filled with laughter, splashes, and fun!

The date of their Oceanside, California beach session was August 26th, which was a very special date marking the celebration of mom and dad’s 25th wedding anniversary. I am so happy we were able to document this beautiful family on this date that holds so much meaning. This beach session served as a beautiful tribute to their enduring love and the legacy they’ve built together.

I loved watching the dynamic between the siblings. Even with their spanning age range, their love for each other was evident in every interaction. From the playful laughter of the younger ones to the camaraderie of the older siblings, the bond between them was truly heartwarming. The kids’ laughter echoed along with the crashing waves.

Large crowds gathered to enjoy the beach on the beautiful summer evening of their session at Oceanside. However, that is where my magic comes into play! My clients value the time and effort I spend hand editing each and every session. I always make sure that the massive crowds and any unwanted distractions are removed. While this process is time consuming and usually takes longer with beach sessions, it is absolutely worth it. I will spend countless hours perfecting each beach scene, as I want each of my client’s to know how much it means to me that they trust me with preserving their family memories. The Montgomery family’s session was no exception! I wanted to deliver images that would forever capture the happiness and love shared during their California vacation.
