As a San Diego Family photographer, there is no greater compliment than a returning client. Knowing that families put their trust in me is something I am incredibly grateful for and I consider it such a privilege to capture each and every one of my families. It brings me so much joy knowing that my clients will have these memories to look back on and relive. One such family that is near and dear to my heart is the Baker Family! I am honored to say that I have been capturing their family memories for almost a decade now!

I connected with the Baker family over nine years ago when their eldest daughter attended the beloved Bright Horizons Preschool Center. Since then, I have watched this beautiful family blossom and grow. From their earliest days as a family of three to the bustling household of five they are today, their family has been a constant thread in my photography. I have loved watching their kiddos grow from behind my camera! This beautiful sunset beach session was no different. We captured so many stunning images, and more importantly, preserved their precious family memories.

Working with a family for over nine years is an incredible honor and gift. The trust that the Baker Family has placed in me to capture their most precious moments is something I hold close to my heart. It is not a responsibility I take lightly. Each session, from maternity to newborn, countless family celebrations, and even a session with their sweet fur baby, Brie, has been a reminder of why I do what I love.

A Decade of Capturing Family Memories

In 2020, Nicole and Brian reached out to have me come to their home and capture their love for Brie, their loyal and spirited fur baby, before saying their final goodbyes. Brie had been an integral part of their family. She had been there for every milestone and moment, witnessing their love turn into marriage and the addition of their children one by one. Brie’s presence in their family’s life spanned nearly 15 years, and her loss was deeply felt. They shared how loyal, loving, and spirited Brie was and how perfectly matched she was for their family.

During that special session, there were tears shed, but I also felt a huge sense of honor to just be present and witness this incredible family bond. The Baker Family’s connection and unwavering love for one another, has been the greatest pleasure and one of the strongest examples of my “why”. Knowing that I am there to document their moments, both joyful and bittersweet, fills me with a deep sense of purpose. Their story, like so many others I have had the pleasure of capturing, exemplifies why I am passionate about what I do everyday and why I love it so much.

I wouldn’t be able to do this job without all the amazing clients that I have met over the last 10 + years in business.
